Senior Legal Officer and Head of the Legal and Enforcement Division
Ms. Rainee Oliphant has given over 12 years of service to the Forestry Department. Her journey began as Legal Officer in the Agency. She left in 2006 to serve for two years as Executive Director of the Forest Conservation Fund. She then returned to take up her current position as Senior Legal Officer and Head of the Legal and Enforcement Division.
Before coming to the Forestry Department, Ms. Oliphant served as acting Legal Officer at the National Environment and Planning Agency.
Ms. Oliphant is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelors of Law degree and Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School.
She also holds a Masters of Business Administration in General Management from the Mona School of Business and Management.
