National Tree Planting Day 2014

National Tree Planting Day is Friday, October 3. The Forestry Department is distributing tree seedlings for tree planting activities. You can get your free seedlings at  the following Forestry Department nurseries and locations:

Nurseries:

  1. Head Office- 173 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 8
  2. Williamsfield, Mandeville, Manchester
  3. Moneague (adjacent to the JDF training Camp), St Ann

Seedlings are also available at the Forestry Department Offices located at:

  1. Folly Road, Port Antonio, Portland
  2. Coley, St. Thomas
  3. RADA Complex, Catherine Hall, Montego Bay, St. James
  4. Litchfield, Trelawny

Distribution times are Mondays - Thursdays 9 a.m. - 4:30 a.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
